Hey look! I’m still capable of writing reviews! I have such a backlog from all the books I’ve been devouring the last week or so. Passion on Park Avenue was my first Lauren Layne and I really enjoyed it!!

Passion on Park Avenue is the first in a new series from Lauren Layne and follows Naomi. A girl who came from humbled beginnings in the Bronx and now is topping all of the 30-under-30 lists. She meets two close friends Audrey and Claire under bizarre circumstances and they make a pact: never let one another be duped by a man again.
Naomi gets a call that an apartment on Park Ave that she “applied” for is now available and she’s been invited for a tenant interview. There she meets Oliver and insta ...more

Adorable, feel-good story! I love a strong female protagonist who isn't afraid to go after what she wants. I thought the chemistry was great, and I felt myself connected to the characters and their story. I found myself drawn to both Naomi & Oliver as characters, and was rooting for them throughout. I especially enjoyed the family element and the sub-plot with Oliver's father. The overall growth of both characters throughout the novel was well-done. I really enjoyed this one and would definitely

I am always a fan of Lauren Layne and her books. When I read the description, I was intrigued. A rags to riches story with some steamy romance sounded right up my alley.
I think the plot of the book was great. The daughter of the "help" comes applies to live in the same apartment where her life changed. And it also happens to be the same people/place her mother used to work for.

This was my first read from Lauren Layne but definitely won’t be my last! Something I really enjoyed from this story was not only the romantic aspect but the focus on friendship in the story as well.
Naomi befriends two women in an unlikely circumstance and the three women become best of friends, through the story the help of these two friends becomes imperative to her love story as well.
I love a good enemies become lovers scenario... and this does just that. Naomi wants revenge for her mother a ...more

I am huge fan of Lauren Layne. I have read 15+ books of hers and each one continues to amaze me. She knows how to write smart romance set in NYC.
Passion on Park Avenue is the first book in the Central Part Pact series and it did not disappointed. This books feature a group of unlikely friends (2 mistresses and a widow) at the guy’s funeral. I have to admit that the friendship was what got me. These women got each other, they supported each other through thick and thin. These are the type of frie ...more

I absolutely adored Passion on Park Avenue. It was a witty enemies to lovers romance that I read in one sitting. I sped through this book finishing it in a few hours.
I loved both characters and was rooting for them to be together. Oliver's Dad was endearing even when he gave you every reason to hate him.
I wanted a little more steam but loved the book anyway.
Lauren Layne writes her books like they should be movies. I can't wait for the next books. I have a feeling I will love this series.
