Okay but for real, Grayson please marry me. Let me break this down for you. Childhood ~~friends~~ crushes. Forbidden romance. Accidental declaration of love. Prey vs. Predator. A love affair with Paris. Sibling scolding. Does that say it all?

This is in no way a deep read–(I read it in half a day, in bed, dog curled up at my toes, ice cream in hand)–but it was the perfect light romance I needed in my life.

Introducing Cameron "Cammie" Heart; rebel, architect, ballsy women in charge, little sister to pop star Brooklyn Heart. (Not going to lie, I haven't read Brooklyn's story yet, but I was told no fear!) Cameron has landed the job of her dreams–minus the fact that it's working under Grayson Cole, her sister's long-time friend–or is that part of the dream? Fiesty, sassy, high-spirited Cammie is on a mission to prove her worth, steal the guy, and make a few enemies along the way.

Grayson Cole has been enamored with Cammie for years, not that she has been any the wiser on it. To help make all her dreams come true, he's kept a close on her and has offered her a job, even if it means he has to keep his hands off. (But thank god, he doesn't). The banter and witty comments between the two of them made my blood boil–FOR THE LOVE OF GOD JUST MAKE OUT–but the book kept me on my toes to see how their story would pan out.

And who doesn't love a public fight? Or three? This book did it for me, even if it wasn't filled with deep meaning, connections and descriptions, it was my perfect stormy day book and the writing matched my soul like peanut butter matches my bread.

Grey delivers on a sweet, sexy and fun romance that will leave a smile on your face and a curl in your toes. I'm now working my through all of her works, but I would highly recommend her to anyone who needs to get out of their world for a minute or two. ...more
