I love this writing duo and have been anticipating the release of Keeping Him. I pre-ordered this book and when it went live on iBooks I couldn’t wait. I had to know more about Jackson and Kiera and let me just say that this book blew me away. I have a confession to make… Keeping Him is MY FAVORITE BOOK OF THE YEAR! It was flirty, quirky, romantic, infuriating (at times…trust me you will understand), hopeful, and took me on one hell description

I love this writing duo and have been anticipating the release of Keeping Him. I pre-ordered this book and when it went live on iBooks I couldn’t wait. I had to know more about Jackson and Kiera and let me just say that this book blew me away. I have a confession to make… Keeping Him is MY FAVORITE BOOK OF THE YEAR! It was flirty, quirky, romantic, infuriating (at times…trust me you will understand), hopeful, and took me on one hell of a rollercoaster ride.

Jackson and Kiera’s story was so fun to read. These two are some of my favorite characters that I have read about. This is probably because they are so adorable together. They are the best of friends who would do anything for each other. And don’t even get me started on their stubbornness.

Jackson Bishop is the definition of a SEXY COWBOY. He is a southern gentleman (when Mama Bishop is around 😉 ), the man every woman is drooling over, and he has a soft side that he reserves only for Kiera. He is a great uncle to his nieces and nephews, a hard-worker, and so much more. Despite being kind and dedicated, he doesn’t think he is good enough to be loved by the one person he sees a future with. My heart would break into a million tiny little pieces every time he thought/said he would never be enough for Kiera.

Kiera is a firecracker. She is sweet, sassy, and crazy in love with Jackson. She has loved him since she was 15 years old. She is great with horses and lives the simple life on a ranch. She is so forgiving even to those who don’t deserve it. Her spunk and quirky attitude make it easy for her to get along with just about everyone in town.

So, why aren’t these two together? That is the million dollar question. Maybe it’s Jackson and Kiera’s failure to see what’s right in front of them or their fear of feelings not being reciprocated. Oh and the major reason if that Kiera is engaged to Dr. Douche aka Trent.

I don’t want to spoil anything for y’all because you would probably hate me for ruining it. It’s okay I would totally hate me too lol. I will say that it is worth every penny. Of course, you can expect to read about some familiar faces. Kennedy Fox are the queens of creating the best-supporting characters. There will be drama, suspense, romance, comedy, and lots of feels.

Kennedy Fox has been one of my favorite authors for a long time and I have read every single one of their books. Yes, I am a fangirl. And I can tell you that this is my favorite of all of their books. That should tell you something.

I give this book 5 BISHOP STARS because it was a great conclusion to an amazing series, had characters that you couldn’t help but fall in love with, and had me staying up all night to finish it. I may have lost a few hours of sleep, but who needs that anyways. I highly recommend this book to romance lovers who love a playboy who just so happens to be a sexy cowboy and who love a slow burn, friends to lovers story. ...more
