I Flipping Love You by @helenahunting follows Rian Sutter. A real estate agent in the Hamptons who works with her twin sister Marley where they are trying to build financial freedom after a past family crisis left them with nothing. While grocery shopping she runs into an irate Pierce Whitfield who is certain she hit his car and then took off. That same Pierce just happens to be brother to Amie (our beloved from the first books in the Shacking Up series where she is now engaged to Lexington). Af I Flipping Love You by @helenahunting follows Rian Sutter. After a terse stand-off, Rian realizes that it was in fact Marley who hit Pierce’s car and she vows to pay him for damages. Pierce doesn’t really care about the damages but he DEFINITELY cares about seeing Rian again.

Turns out Pierce is also an agent/developer with his brother Lawson in the Hamptons for the summer as well. They soon realize they’ll be competing all summer for buying opportunities and flips but neither is deterred. Before they know it, they are falling fast and their physical connection is unlike anything either have experienced before. Rian is guarding secrets from her past that threaten to ruin this new relationship, which is quickly becoming much more than the fling she was banking on. Will she finally open up to Pierce or will her fear of exposure ensure that these two never see past the end of summer?

OK. @helenahunting kills me every. damn. time. She is the queen of romcoms and if I want to read something that will just put me in a good head space she is always the answer. While you definitely don’t need to read the Shacking Up series before this one, I totally thought it helped. There are always little nuances and details weaving all of the books together, which I always appreciate even though they can all totally be read as a stand alone. I loved this one! Who knew I needed more real estate romance in my life? Evidently I do. Bonus there is a dryer scene in here that is HOT AF but there is also so much sweetness and tenderness. I loved Pierce. I loved Rian. I need Logan and Marley’s book (the siblings, if they get together? in my head they do) but alas we don’t have to wait long before books 4 & 5 come out in the next two months! // ☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️ ...more

I am a huge fan of Helena Hunting. I love her Pucked series and I have been enjoying her Shacking Up series. This book is in the Shacking Up world as the hero is the brother of Amalie the heroine on Hooking Up.

Ok this is the story of Rian and Pierce.

I Flipping Love You is the third book in the Shacking Up series by Helena Hunting. It follows Amie’s brother Pierce who is spending the summer in the Hamptons helping his brother Lawson flip houses.⁣

Compared to the rest of the series, this book fell flat for me. I just wasn’t as invested in the characters and couldn’t get into the whole family secrets drama that was going on. This book was great. I love the hero Pierce, so sweet and charming (and hot!). The conflict was subtle to start but ramped up in a believable way for an exciting and satisfying finish. An excellent contemporary romance.

I love steamy scenes, humor and banter, so this one was great.

I loved Pierce, he was persistent, charming and self-aware. I struggled some with Rian, she was at times brilliant, articulate and self-aware, but when faced with her past she just couldn't seem to trust Pierce. Running away will never make me a happy camper. ...more
