I highly recommend this book! Have you ever finished a book and considered starting all over again? That was how I felt after staying up way past my bedtime to finish this one.
Is Calla a little bit superficial and annoying at first? Definitely, but her growth throughout this book is one of my favorite aspects. She went from an ok character to one I absolutely adored. Then we have Jonah, our bruting Alaskan heart throb that stole my heart. While they didn't get along at first, the progression of ...more

How soon is too soon to reread a book? *Asking for a friend.*
I don’t know how I don’t have a review of this one up yet because Calla and Jonah haven’t left my thoughts since I read this one in November.
So many of my friends have raved about this book, but every time I read the synopsis I would think “not interested 🤷🏼♀️.” What no one told me was how much I would be able to relate to Calla. As soon as I started this book I was enamored with Calla (which I feel like was not a popular opinion. ...more

“I feel a magnetic pull toward him that I can’t explain.”
“That’s not my type.”
“But you said—“
“You’re my type.” His voice is gentle but he levels me with a steady gaze.
K.A. Tucker straight BLEW me out of the waters with this book! I’m utter shook at how beautifully written this book was. This was the best banter/playing pranks on each others as enemies to lovers I’ve ever see ...more

I really enjoyed reading Calla and Jonah’s story from would be enemies to lovers to their bickering and ultimately their romantic encounters, I couldn’t get enough of these two.
Jonah is my new “YETIBAE” and I loved how he got Calla ready for life in Alaska. He appeared to be the rugged guy with a soft spot for Ms. Calla and I really enjoyed their blossoming relationship.
Also the steam factor was IT for me! I can’t have my romance without a little steam and KA Tucker delivered!

Re-read 10/2021.
I was feeling a little slumpy and decided to pick up one of my favorite books to help me out of it. Calla and Jonahs story will never get old to me.
Calla is completely out of her element. Wren Fletcher is a bush pilot that her mother fell in love with years ago and left when she couldn’t handle the rough lifestyle in a rural Alaskan town. And he’s sick. Knowing this might be her only opportunity to know her father, Calla heads to Alaska to spend some time with him. Along the wa ...more

Everyone I know have raved about this book and some reason I kept putting it off. If you haven’t read it yet, I say go and read it ASAP. This book was so good!!!
I loved the banter between Calla and Jonah and the story that develops between them. This book is more than a love story. It makes you want to visit Alaska for the beautiful landscape and the native people. It explores relationship between an estranged father and also explores what is really important in life. 👩❤️👨𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬: The group of characters in these novels are characters that you will fall in love with. From Jonah and Calla, to Simon, to Mabel and Agnes to Wren. All of these characters had such special bonds with each other that I could feel through every word in these books.
🏔 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠: Both books mostly take place in Alaska, I loved how Tucker described Alaska. She did such a great job creating an immersive and vivid setting for the readers.
