I really liked this new adult romance that felt like a younger version of A Star Is Born meets Walk the Line. Even thought the romance was on the lighter PG side, the subject matter was not. Both main characters, Clay and Annie, have serious family trauma in their past that they're still trying to work through. There were points in this story that felt very real as if from experience and it added to the story. My favorite parts were the music or when they were on stage. There were a l

This is one of the best contemporary romances I’ve read all year. I read this shortly after I finished Daisy Jones and I must say, I absolutely love reading about musicians and getting a look behind the scenes. Annie Mathers is one of my favorite female characters so far this year and I was definitely rooting for her happiness. ⁣

I’m so impressed this is a debut and can’t wait to check out what Erin Hahn writes next!⁣

Y’all, I loved this one!!! It’s been a minute since I’ve read any YA books, I wasn’t expecting to be that into this one. But You’d Be Mine completely took me by surprise. If you love the show Nashville, put this book on your radar and get ready for when You’d Be Mine releases April 2nd! ✨⁣

I didn’t know how I would feel about reading another book that focused on the music industry so close to D

You’d Be Mine is the story of two young country singers, Annie and Clay. Both are tortured by tragedies in their past, Clay’s brother was a marine killed in Afghanistan, Annie’s famous country singer parents both committed suicide. After getting himself into trouble, the label tasks Clay with recruiting Annie and her band to tour with him for the summer, hoping her good-girl image will help Annie reluctantly agrees, and the two set out for the summer.

This was the first YA book I’ve finished in

This was an adorable read. I loved the Nashville TV show feel of this book. I loved that it was told from two points of view but you also see how the peripheral characters felt.

Clay and Annie could be real people. You felt Clay spiral and you feel like he is a little bit based on Justin Bieber. Annie feels like an early Taylor Swift. The Taylor that was sweet and innocent. You cheer for them. You cry for them. You want to see them together.

I wanted to actually listen to the songs. Watch an act

Oh gosh, I loved this one so much! Thanks to the publisher for my free review copy.

Yes, this is a YA novel, and there were a few semi-cheesy lines, but overall I thought this one was great! A sweet love story about two young country stars who each have their own demons to overcome. I couldn't get enough of it.

The country music scene was great - definite rock-star vibes. If you liked A Star is Born (Gaga/Bradley Cooper), watched the tv show Nashville, or are a country music fan, I think you'll li

I loved this book so much.

I read a lot of romance novels, and most of them have a good amount of steam. This book had zero steam and I'm not even mad about it. The story is just that good. It's a feel good and heart break romance all in one that makes you think of your first love.

You'd Be Mine had so much heart and the whole book reads like a song. The fact that this is a debut novel amazes me. Everyone is talking about Daisy but I'll just be over here singing the praises of Annie and Clay.

I seriously loved this book. I loved Annie & her back story, and I loved Clay and how he grew as a character. Together, they were such a wonderful pair of characters, and I loved seeing them on tour & learning more about each other. This had a lot of sweet moments, but also a lot of teachable moments, and I enjoyed seeing the outcome. This was a really cute teen contemporary romance, and it was made really fun with the whole country music tour/scene.

If an episode of Nashville and a YA version of A Star is Born had a baby it would be this book. It’s absolutely darling and you’ll become quite attached to these rising country stars. It’ll give you all the YA romance feels, I loved it and gave it 4 ⭐️ s

Thank you to Wednesday Books for the early review copy. This book made me wanna put of my cowboy boots and daisy dukes and head to a country music festival 🌾🎵🎸

This is about two country singers, bad boy Clay and America’s sweetheart Annie. Can they get past the tragedies that have conflicted both of them and begin an amazing professional future or will it all crumble down.
This book wowza! It had me laughing, crying, feeling and not wanting it to end! I finished this book in one night! I COULD NOT stop reading! If you want a YA romance that has real life problems then this is the book for you! I am so glad that I got this book and will definitely be pi
