I read most of this in a one day, but I don’t think I would have done it that quickly if it wasn’t for the buddy read. This is a slow burn and the plot definitely doesn’t pick up until the second half.
Right off the bat, we learn that Hannah is a rape survivor and while that definitely should’ve been mentioned in the blurb (it wasn’t), I felt that the book did a good job of handling her trauma, including her triggers.
