If you like having fun then read Jonathan Maberry. His Pine Deep trilogy is one of the best horror series ever and these Joe Ledger books get better and better. Usually after a few books characters can get stale and stories formulaic but not Ledger, these are fresh every single time. Highly recommended!

More of the same, sort of, from Jonathan Maberry. Another fast paced holiday read with Joe Ledger and Echo Team performing heroics on behalf of the USA and mankind in general. That sounds a bit cynical because actually these books are genuinely good. Very competently handled multi-viewpoint with three dimensional characters that you do care about. This one is a bit of a greatest hits album with the return of the zombie virus and berserkers, plus some super-ebola and other threats thrown in.

Another great Joe Ledger novel. I could have done with a little more story time with Ledger at the forefront but luckily all the side characters in this series are really amazing. It was a great sequel to Patient Zero and i absolutely can not wait for the next in this series.
