It took me about 50 pages to get into this book, but once I was in, it was weirdly difficult to put it down. I found Lewis' prose moving. It's not a "gripping" book in the traditional sense, but an enjoyable read that also gave way to lots of reflection and pondering. It surprised me with how profound it is (which it shouldn't because it's C.S. Lewis.) And he doesn't hit the nail on the head too often--it rewards attention to detail. Solid read.
