What Members Thought
I went back-and-forth between 3 and 4 stars. I was really with this novel for the first third, then I felt it kind of wandered in the middle, and it was pretty good towards the end. It's an ambitious novel, and I love the plot and the ideas, it was just uneven at times. I'm generally a fan of Gaiman, and don't get me wrong, this is well-written, it just slogged along at times.
