Outlander! Words fail me.
This is the book which got me hooked to historical romance. Actually that would be incorrect. I read this series out of order, I started with Dragonfly in amber and then read outlander. These books got me so involved. I was in love, obsessed with Claire and Jamie Fraser. I would read and re-read their wedding vows! Such beautiful words followed by the pagan ritual. Just perfect.

This will be a short review because there are literally thousands of in depth reviews out there for this book, and I just didn't love it enough to put that kind of energy into a review of that magnitude. I do feel that this book has sort of become required reading for romance lovers everywhere. You can't go anywhere without hearing about Claire and Jamie, their love story and the epic that is Outlander.
