This book is a sequel to ‘The Day the Crayons Quit’, and, like its predecessor, is best suited for Key Stage 1 pupils. This time, we hear the stories of the many crayons that Duncan has left behind or generally neglected over the years – each sends him a postcard (some of them several) detailing their plight. In the end, Duncan feels rather bad for them – they won’t even fit in his crayon box, as they’re so neglected – so builds a new crayon house.
