This is the last book in the Artemis Fowl series. I was keeping up with the series until the last three books. While I'm a big fan of the books, I wasn't motivated enough to continue the series. I normally would never skip a book in a series, but knowing I was on a deadline with the other YALSA Hub Challenge books, I decided to skip books six and seven and go right to The Last Guardian. Luckily I was familiar with the majority of the characters and didn't really feel like I was missing anything

I liked this book the first time I listened to it and even more when I listened to it the second time for the 2013 Hub Challenge. I've enjoyed this series all the way through and Colfer brought it to a worthy, full-circle conclusion. Excellent narration by Nathaniel Parker, as well.
