So far this book really bugs me. So tired of the bevy of books printed in the US that feature self-hating Muslim apologists.

I really dislike this woman greatly. She professes to be open-minded and pro-women's rights. But really she is anti-Islam and extremely biased.

i started this book sometime ago and found it challenging: her story, so personal and painful. I returned to it this summer, as an audio book read by the author. As it moved into the 2nd half (her Dutch citizenship, political activism), I couldn't 'put it down'. Powerful story. ...more
