I just couldn’t quite connect with this, although I suspect the fault lies more with me than with the book. This is a novel constructed as a series of short stories, all interconnected, but each told from a different point of view, each with a different, sometimes oblique view of the central situation. It's a page turner. I really loved it until it started breaking into a lots of short stories with much less developed characters. No tears were jerked reading this one.

I really wanted to like this book but couldn't. Guess, there were too many characters to remember but overall it's a nice book as always Khaled scores on his writing style.
