This was another book I studied in my literature course. I absolutely LOVED it! Yes, it is the one of the most depressing and painful novels I have ever read but I love metaphors and literary techniques, and this author used them both beautifully and effectively. Morrison writes the whole story through the recollections and memories of the main characters and I found that awesome honestly. It is a very difficult read in terms of how the novel has been organized, but if you keep up with the sign
