I can't believe I went 47 years without reading this book and then read it in a matter of 2 hours. A heartbreaking, amazing read. Thank God it was only 107 pages because the sense of foreboding - that knowing that it couldn't end well - was terrible. I wonder how many times I will reread this book now. Many, many . . . ...more
