I honestly forgot how good this was.
It's Harry Potter so there's a certain amount of 'of course it's amazing, don't be silly' but, objectively, it still stands up as being amazing. 2016 was very Harry Potter - I went to see the Cursed Child, watched Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find them, I started rewatching the films... but still I had forgotten the joy of the first time I read the Philosopher's Stone.
