Beautiful and confronting, as it always was and always will be. This was the first time that I managed to finish reading the diary front to back and I'm glad that I did, although it was troubling to me again.

I want to rate this 3.5, but that’s not an option. I really enjoyed immersing myself in Anne’s thoughts - it felt like we became friends. I can relate to her a lot - she is very curious, compassionate, silly. I didn’t give this book more stars bc the very nature of it makes it difficult to read, but not as much as I expected.
