I picked up Universe For Sale because the blurb mentions a new evolution theory that the main character Cal is out to prove. I think that is a trifle misleading since as some reviewers have stated it is more of a space opera. It does have some interesting ideas and side notes however, such as that earth was originally inhabited by aliens who came to form the human race. In this sci-fi adventure, a basically ordinary modern-day couple—an archeologist and a physics teacher—accidentally launch an ancient spacecraft with themselves aboard and unknowingly awaken a criminal madman. What have Cal and Judy gotten themselves into? From the title, it’s clear their adventures aren’t a completely-serious, heavy-science type of sci-fi novel.
