This book made me sleepy. Parts were profound and gave me pause to think over what I had just heard, but other parts were just overly contemplative and the book lacked action. Very descriptive, but lacking in dialog. Great ideas, but hard to get them communicated when feeling tired from listening to the protagonist.

Hard to describe. One of the most moving books I've ever read. My response was similar to reading profound poetry, but it's not poetry, but very present and sober prose.

This is one of the most beautiful books I have ever read. It moves like a slow crystal-clear stream through a bucolic green meadow filled with animals, birdsong, and butterflies. For those readers who want high adventure, mystery, suspense, etc. this is not the book for you. If you want beautiful writing, profound thinking, and a true appreciation for life this is the book for you.
