This book is fucked up. I can’t recommend. It’s too long and way too depressing. Of course, I liked it a lot. Bob Slocum may be the most unlikeable character ever written, but I didn’t hate him. For being so self-reflective, it was so weird that he didn’t change much. Bob shares the darkest of his thoughts, things nobody admits to thinking. That’s probably why I liked the book. He was relatable because he was horrible and none of us like to admit we all have a dark side that no one gets to see.
