Brilliant, horrifying, repetitive: it is everything at once and more.

Think The Street of Crocodiles but more virulent, American (the author is Australian but you'd be hard pressed to tell) and visceral.

Thank god for birth control. I would drink poison if I was married to this guy too. A truly terrible reading experience thanks to Jonathan Franzen’s recommendation. Do not recommend.
