SPOILER ALERT

Such an amazing book. A huge comfort read for me. Makes me contemplate life and mortality, which is crazy given it’s a middle grade book, but I guess sometimes those are the best. If you want a book you can read in only a few hours that still gives you a atmospheric setting, lovely characters, beautiful language, and great themes this is it!

Enjoyable and I can see why it won awards. I can easily imagine this as a play. Recommend!
