Witty, charming and increases my desire for vodka.
A sometimes funny and sometimes slow last hurrah by a man who sneaks out of his nursing home just before his 100th birthday party. Told in alternating bits between the present and the past, the story takes the main character on a bunch of adventures.
Funny. Good characters. Could be ~80 - 100 pages shorter.
What a fun read! Madcap adventures of a Forest Gump like character. Follow his adventures modern day and through his unique history.
