What Members Thought
Every now and then I read a book that changes me~ this was one of those books. This book was a perfect choice given what is happening in our country right now with racism and turmoil. Lisa Wingate has written an extraordinary tale about slavery and how this history is important to everyone.
I don’t typically like books that go back and forth between past and present, but this story is beautifully written. Treat yourself to this book! You won’t regret it.
