This just keeps getting hotter. Be forewarned that this installment has MM incest. That bothers some people. Being that I'm twisted it doesn't bother me. Fiction is fiction and should entertain. I don't put any more limits on fiction than that. This definitely is entertaining.

This is the first time I'll rate the stories separately, but I feel there needs to be a distinction.
Dark Lady I If I could give this story a 1000 stars I would. Ridonkulous dark, twisted, sexy, and fascinating. Sergei and the Lady are so similar and who knows if things had been different what would have happened with them alone or with them together. From start to that amazing finish I was hypnotized by the writing. That hand on the face and the softened smile...pure genius perfection. ...more

The more I read and lose myself in this series where what I expected becomes the unexpected, the characters are just not what I thought they were!!!!!!!! Each time I finish reading the one book, I can’t wait to start with the next….it’s like an addiction…I have to know more, I have to see more….this author’s writing, characterization, plotting are just beyond incredible. I was and am still riveted to this world I am discovering. Dark Soul just pulls me in and I am unable to let go!!!!

Five stars all the ways for this series. I really need to find some time to write some proper reviews ... or even better, I should reread the books because they are fantastic! I highly recommend them to all M/M fans, because you rarely find a character as sexy as Silvio.
I think the best thing about this series, hands down, is Aleksandr Voinov's way with words. From the very first sentence to the very last, it lures and draws you in, gives you a subtle understanding of the characters - not by spelling everything out, but by describing pictures that allow you your own interpretations.

This series just keeps getting better. I really love the episodic storytelling, and this installment is especially delicious, with loads of moral ambiguity (and--finally!--I've found an author willing to delve into brotherly lust in a way that's complicated and conflicted). Awesome. I can't wait for the next one.

I really, really enjoyed this book and it was a lot better than the previous two. Still wanting to get more into Silvio's mind but he is a bad motherfucker I will give him that. How did he know where the russians would be to put his plan in motion though? That part seemed too easy though. I made him right away but watching it play out was a beauty.
