What Members Thought
In some books, being able to easily put it down is a negative. In this case, it's a selling point, because it's just as easy to pick it up again without fear of being lost. This made it very convenient for a day with a lot of 'hurry up and wait' moments where urgent activity is interrupted by spans of idleness. That is a verbose way of repeating the fact that this is an anthology of really short stories. (Sorry for repeating the description).

A marvellous collection of short stories and flash fiction, and who doesn't love a quick read? Some are fast-paced, some that demand a little more thought from the reader, a quality I really enjoy from a short story and is brilliantly achieved in this collection. 'Thinly veiled' really made me smile - a glimpse into what happens when writing is taken too seriously.
