The thing is, there are books and then there are stories. Books are something to read, while stories seem less like words on a page and more like something exploding in your imagination. As an indie author, I've made it a point to seek out fellow travelers, hoping to see what's out there and how my own work compares. So I hope it carries a little weight when I say that Outlaws and Worse was the most enjoyable and accomplished novel of any I've yet read.
