This is a typical Kim Dare ... well written, sweet, loving, consensual BDSM ... all the nasty bits are glossed over & the characters thunder towards a HEA with the odd bit of miscommunication & mild angst to carry the story along ... the smex was nice ... it was all nice ... I enjoyed reading it (as I do with most of her books) but there was no wow factor ... if you love Kim Dare then this is, of course, essential reading, but it isn't one of my favourites by this prolific author. ...more
