I was intrigued by the premise of this story the instant I read the description. I am a huge fan of science fiction and the concept of humans living in tunnels, uneducated and poor as lab rats while scientists study the devastation of the Earth's environment by poisonous gases, fascinated me. This was a new author, to me, and I was very impressed by the world created.
