If you were a five foot nothing woman, who hid from the world behind a pile of gothic makeup, and sported nothing but black clothing with a spiky hairdo - some might think you had issues. Well, this heroine dose indeed have issues galore – an abusive ex and parents who thought of her as devil spurn. Well, that would certainly give me issues too, but while this heroine is damaged, she also has a will to live and sports a toughness about her, a toughness that I found endeared me to her even more.
