What Members Thought

So I gave this book a three because it was just ok to me. SPOILERS below.
PROS
- The storyline made sense.
- I did like the multiple mysteries (who killed Ines and what happened to Jason).
- So interesting to me that these women worked the same land that their ancestors were enslaved upon.
- If Attica wanted to me deeply dislike pretty much all the white characters in this book she pretty much succeeded (Raymond, Leland, Bobby, Abrams, etc). Not only were they covertly racist they were also toxi ...more
