What Members Thought

Being and Nothingness is by far and in every respect the most dense and difficult book I’ve ever read. The book is largely inaccessible and the ideas expressed in the book are often incomprehensible; it’s replete with very technical philosophy jargon on every page. Despite that, I actually thoroughly enjoyed reading it. The real-life examples and hypothetical scenarios that Sartre often cites to better illustrate his otherwise unintelligible points keep full-blown tedium at bay and keep the book
