Re-read notes: I absolutely stand by my original review. I had to re-read it before reading book 2 because the political details were a little fuzzy in my head after a year and a half, but I still remembered all my lovely characters.

Um livro fantástico, de um autor talentoso :-)
Saboroso, cheio de emoções, atentados, mortes, reviravoltas ...
Faz lembrar a série Fundação de Isaac Asimov, pois trata-se da previsão do fim de um império atual (a interdependência).
Ao final fica o suspense de uma continuação :-)

Um dos melhores livros de ficção científica que li desde A Fundação. Toda a trama política, com pequenos detalhes científicos, mais a crítica a religião, ao status-quo. Vale a pena. Os personagens são bem trabalhados, e todos têm participação relevante na trama.
I have to admit the end kinda let me down a little bit but i enjoy the book and his characters a lot.
