Couric has written a story about a young immigrant boy whose classmates make fun of him and won't befriend him because he is different. It was a nice story, but seemed to end abruptly. I felt like there should have been more to the story. I also didn't like how, despite all the things the kids did, the teacher could NOT have known, and interceded, made an attempt to devise an activity that he could have been included in, an icebreaker. Flawed, but ok.
