I didn't read this book for years because I am not a huge scifi fan. All in all, I don't think it is a bad thing that I waited, as I think I have more empathy now than I would have read with years ago. So I was able to appreciate the characters that bring torment to Ender as well as Ender's perspective. Perhaps it was written so that I would have experienced that anyway. Who can tell?

I have a lot of thoughts about this work, but I'm still mulling them over in my head (as opposed to my left knee...) Perhaps I'll start the next book while I think on it. Or, Maybe it'll inspire me to cement my thinking..........
