What Members Thought
Grace under fire, strength under pressure come to mind to describe The Fault in Our Stars, but those are much more superficial than the introspective glimpses we are given into the hearts and minds of these characters who are defining how to live while dying and while those around them can only deal with the future in measured bites.

I completely fell in love with August. Even though I was not completely smitten with Hazel, the relationship between her and Gus was really sweet. It was sad in a way that made me remember the friend I lost to cancer but gave me an interesting perspective as to what this amazing people go through. Overall I could not put it down until I finished it 4 days later.
WOW! One of the best books I've read! I picked it up and could not put it down!!! I cried so hard I was shaking the entire bed with my sobs. So glad I got this recommendation!

had seen the movie first. came into book with very high expectations. The author did not deliver on them as it reads like a screenplay. Very little extra material to support the characters, main or supporting.
