Follows three women in three timelines who all share not only ancestry, but also the power of witchcraft which they use to assert their feminine power and maintain their freedom. It's hard not to have a favorite story in books with multiple stories and I did, but the author did a good job of keeping each story interesting, giving enough detail to show the connections between them without giving away too much, and creating characters that were easy to care about. ...more
