What Members Thought
This was a great twisty, creepy suspense novel. It kept you wondering who was telling the truth, and had a very stalker-esque feel to it. That being said, it should be warned that there is a lot of discussion about SA and “grooming” for anyone triggered by that type of narrative. It was fast paced, and had a definite creep factor in regard to things like social media, letting people into your life/home, and trusting your instinct when something makes you feel “off”. I’m not quite sure what to rate this. 3.5 maybe. A good page-turner with good writing. Alix is a podcaster. Josie is a total creeper with a twisted family. At the end I didn’t know who (in her family) to believe. Nathan the drinking husband. Twisted story, but quick to get through the pages. Overall an entertaining read.
So many questions. I am left with so many questions. I really liked this book. I liked the audio book format with the recording and podcast. It took me a little to get use to it, but once I did I liked it alot. But I was left with so many question, which made the book so good.
I am enjoying this book but the subject matter is very disturbing and dark. This book won't be for everyone. What a great book. The ending was wow!
