What Members Thought
This was a wonderful book from beginning to end with its unique setting and character. I started it as an ebook and finished listening to the audiobook and I would recommend the audiobook.
It's not frequent when I'm out of synch with most reviewers but definitely am with this one. The premise and the setting seemed intriguing, but the writing was not good (dialogue in particular) and the plot contrived and implausible. I'm glad others have enjoyed - I would encourage readers to check out Kristin Hannah's The Great Alone, which has a related theme, but is significantly better.
