Pure storytelling magic.
Seriously!?! 4.28 stars? I've seen this book on multiple lists. I saw the high rating. So, I finally gave it a shot with all intentions of reading The Song of Achilles next. That is definitely not happening. This was not a brand new twist on an old tale. Instead, it was essentially a regurgitation of Greek tales. This was a beautiful story...all told from Circe...and not from the patriarchy. It's the beautiful humanization of a deity. Please read when you get the chance.
