I read this book several years ago and still find myself thinking about it - Now that is the sign of a really good book! The Kennedy assassination was a watershed moment in my life. I had just seen President Kennedy when he came to our small Southern town to dedicate our new dam. My Dad was running for mayor at that point so we had excellent and got to shake the President's hand. The characters are very interesting in the storyline that circles around the assassination. Excellent!

Once again, King hits it outta the park with this entry in historical/time-travel/romance. Sounds like an odd combination, I know, but, it's Stephen King, and it works. Got done listening to this on audio. I have to say that I really liked the person reading this. Also, this is a good book that's easy to listen to cause it keeps you interested.
I really like the yellow card man. I couldn't wait to see if there was any more of a meaning to him except at the entrance of the portal. He's always saying..."Who are you? What are you doing here?"
Now that I'm done with the book, I found out what the "yellow" card man was doing and his purpose in the book.

What would you do if you had the chance to go back in time and prevent Kennedy from being assassinated? For Jake Epping, the choice was made for him by an old friend's last wish. As he circumnavigates the past, he creates a Butterfly Effect that ripples through the past and alters the present. Finding love, fulfillment and a chance to put things right, will he risk everything, including his heart, to save the future?

Awesome! Loved it. Damn you, Stephen King, for being such a wonderful writer and storyteller that I have been desperate to avoid all activities in my life for the past five days to devour you time-traveling love story. And for being too wonderful to skim. And for having your heart and politics dead on correct! Read this people!
