This is the first time I've read this book and enjoyed it. It was set in a small town in Alabama. It's about a lawyer defending a black man of raping a white girl. It takes you on a journey with the two children trying to find out more about their neighbor Boo Radley. It depicts a story about history of racism and prejudice.

This book was impressive.I loved the character of the lawyer Atticus and though he fights for justice for Tom and loses the battle, he should be applauded for trying. It was a good read and good book discussion material.

April 1, 2005 - What can anyone say about this book? I loved it. It's about a little girl who lives in a southern town and is learning how different people react to race. It's a book that I feel that I need to read again.
