Everyone knows Breakfast at Tiffany's. The mere mention of the film inspires an image of Audrey Hepburn, pristine in a black dress and large pearls, stepping out of a taxi to stand, donut and coffee in hand, gazing through dark black shades into the window at Tiffany’s. But the dainty, child-like character of Holly Golightly originated in a brilliant novella written by Truman Capote.
