This is definitely not your typical love story with a cookie cutter happy ending. It's an emotional roller coaster from start to finish. I laughed, was on the verge tears, wanted to scream, cried, laughed, screamed, and cried some more. It captured me from the first chapter and I couldn't put it down.

I had a hard time getting into but kept going and I am so glad I did. I finished the book with tears running down my face. Such a thought provoking book. Makes you have a different outlook. Definitely not your usual love story.
Amazing book. Very well-written with a full cast of complicated characters. It also humanizes the issues around the right-to-die discussions. Beautifully done, well worth reading.
Had seen the movie before which I usually don't like to do. But I really enjoyed the book added details and could really see the struggle of the main character.

Did not expect to like this book as much as I did. Laughed, cried and thought deeply about what makes a life worth living.
