I have to say that I loved the writing, the characters, and their lives in London. As soon as I read the first chapter, I was hooked and completed it in 30 hours. I read it through the night, and when I reached the end, I couldn't stop crying. A book I will never forget.

3.5 stars for me, but really closer to 4 so I rounded up. I really liked this story a lot, but think that part of it was all the hype and everyone I knew who loved it so much, along with the fact that I had seen the movie before getting to read the book--which I don't like to do. I liked the movie alot but since I knew the plot it may have affected me in reading this. I still, like almost always, liked the book more than the movie and it still really impacted me as a great story.

I need to give this book more than five stars. I'm going to give it seven stars. Such a fantastically written story that will stay with me for a very long time.
