"Rachel takes the same commuter train every morning. Every day she rattles down the track, flashes past a stretch of cozy suburban homes, and stops at the signal that allows her to daily watch the same couple breakfasting on their deck. I'm certain at some point the author considered titling this "Train Wreck", which would have been more apropos. Also, there really isn't a single character with redeeming qualities, which is interesting. No "shining hero" that I was rooting for. I thought that each of the characters were very well written and had their own distinct voice, attitude, and behavior. I could actually imagining running into them in real life. It was just a crazy plot line wit ...more
