I know this is a very popular book, and has been for over a hundred years. So why am I giving it only three stars? Well ... I was not pulled into the story or held in suspense. Easy to put down and hard to pick up again. I had to fight to get through it. A young girl might find it endearing, and I hope to find one to gift my lovely copy of the book to.
