Wow what a great book. Number 2 for #crushyourtbr also number 2 for books about WWII.
I really didn't see it turning out how it did. Honestly I had zero clue as to how I thought it was going to play out.

I loved this book. It's not one you can gloss through. In fact, I almost feel like I want to re-read it to see if I can see what I missed the first time around.
It's a beautiful tale of friendship (I loved how that was the focus and not romance for a change) between a pilot and a spy, set in England and France during WWII. Perhaps it was the audio version or my own state of my mind when I began this book, but I could not connect with this story at all. I wanted to and I gave it longer than usual to try, but now it's time to call it. Not the one for me.
